The day started at 7 a.m., organizing and setting up U-haul boxes, and ended well after 9 pm that evening. A 40-minute Fayetteville to Lumberton trip took almost 2 hours because I-95 was flooded in some areas. Upon arriving, the sight of vehicles roping an entire shopping center parking lot and extending down Fayetteville Street, waiting for me and Gee, was the most humbling day of my life.
